 COVID-19 HAZEL GROVE SNOOKER CLUB

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO PROTECT YOU

Life has to go on, but it has to go on safely. Here is what we are doing to keep safe...

Staying Safe

Social Distancing Plan and Risk Assessments have been conducted and the actions set out below will be implemented.

Keeping Clean

Thorough cleaning schedules, enveloped RNA anti-viral agents, and sanitizing stations to be used to disinfect and reduce risk of contamination.

Staying Alert

We require members and guests to stay alert to social distancing measures and the 1m plus rule, and stay 2m apart where possible or if you cannot wear a mask.
Keeping Safe

Social Distancing Plan

1 Meter Plus

Take risk mitigation seriously. A one-way system will be used to enter and exit the premises, table availability reduced, hand sanitizing stations (compulsory on entry), no face to face seating. Staff will wear PPE and customers will be advised to wear a mask if they are able to.

Limit Capacity

Limiting our capacity to no more than 4 players per table on certain tables. MAX 100 guests in the 13,500 sq.ft building. We will reduce the number of tables available to create a channel to visit the toilet without passing an active snooker table.

Table Service

Use of Intercom service and additional mobile phone ordering to prevent bar queues. We bring the drinks to you, so you can stay at your table and reduce contact. A mobile phone number will be posted at every table so customers can call the bar with an order.

No Ordering at Bar

Players must stay by their tables and stay 1m+ away from other guests at all times. Strictly NO ordering at the bar, table service only.

Limit Toilet Capacity

Due to the size of the toilets, we will limit the number of people in the gents toilet to just 2 at a time, ladies/disabled toilet is 1 at a time.

Clear Signage

Appropriate distancing signage on display such as banners and posters to inform and remind guests what is expected.

Contact Details Required

Due to Government requirements on contact tracing, everyone will be required to leave contact details in the event the authorities request the info. This is a condition of opening we must comply with.

Face Masks Available

We encourage guests to wear a face covering. We will sell masks at cost price (50p) for those who don't have one and wish to wear one.

stay seated where possible

We encourage all our players and guests to remain seated when not taking their shot at the table.
